ADA World MasterCard: 0% Balance Transfer for 12 Months, No Fees
Friday, January 16th, 2009They’re very rare, but no fee balance transfers still exist. The ADA World MasterCard is a co-branded card from Citi and the American Dental Association that features an intro offer of 0% APR on balance transfers for 12 months with no balance transfer fee. As is the norm with Citi credit cards, you have 12 months from the date of opening your account to perform the initial balance transfer.
There are two different versions of the card: the ADA World MasterCard which is a travel rewards card and the ADA Platinum Select Card which is a low interest platinum card. The travel rewards card, as its name suggests, has an airline rewards program. It also offers a 10,000 point bonus when you sign up and make $150 in purchases within the first 60 days of account opening. 10,000 points can be redeemed for a $100 gift certificate to stores like Best Buy, Gap and The Home Depot.
While the application asks for your ADA member number, it isn’t a required field, so you need not be a dentist to apply.
