Amex Introduces Delta Reserve Credit Card with More Bonus MQMs

American Express recently announced the new Delta Reserve Credit Card and the Delta Reserve for Business Credit Card. These new premium cards offer:

• Up to 10,000 Delta Medallion® Qualification Miles (MQMs) after first purchase
• 15,000 MQMs after spending $30,000 in a calendar year. Earn an additional 15,000 MQMs when your spending reaches $60,000. These “Miles Boosts” not only allow you to earn up to 30,000 MQMs for Medallion status, but they also allow you to earn 30,000 miles for travel.
• The ability to give the MQMs earned from Card spending to friends and family
• Complimentary access to Delta’s Crown Room Clubs with two guests when flying on Delta.
• Access to Pay with Miles, a new feature that allows members to pay for all or part of a ticket using miles, with no blackout dates or inventory restrictions.

The consumer version of the card also earns double miles on Delta purchases, gas stations, supermarkets, drugstores, and home improvement stores. The small business card will earn double miles on Delta purchases, gas stations, home improvement stores, wireless phone bill payments, and office supplies. There is an annual fee of $450 which can be reduced to $395 if the cardmember carries an additional qualifying American Express charge card.
