The Capital One Quicksilver card used to be hands-down the best card to use on Uber purchases, thanks to the 20% statement credit on every ride promotion. Unfortunately, that offer expired in April 2016 and there hasn’t been anything like it available since then.

That changed today when Uber announced it would be introducing a new loyalty program called Payment Rewards. As part of the new program, through March 2017, Uber is offering every 10th ride for free (up to $15) when you pay with a Capital One Quicksilver or QuicksilverOne card.

This weekend, eligible Capital One cardholders can receive 4 free rides on uberPOOL in select cities. UberPOOL, a service introduced by Uber last year, matches riders heading in the same direction to share rides, so that the cost is split.

To take advantage of this promotion, enter promo code CAPITALONEPOOL, choose uberPOOL and select your eligible Capital One card as your payment method. Eligible cards include US-issued credit cards open and in good standing, as well as debit cards from Capital One and Capital One 360.

Now through July 1, 2013, Capital One cardholders can earn an extra 5 bonus points per dollar spent at Trader Joe’s when making a purchase of at least $60 in-store. Those 5 bonus points per dollar spent are in addition to the points you would normally earn from the transaction. So if, for instance, you have a Venture Card, which normally earns 2 points per dollar spent, you would earn 7 points per dollar at Trader Joe’s under this promo.
