Tuesday, January 3rd, 2012
For a limited time, Discover has brought back a popular promo: get 0% APR on both purchases and balance transfers for 12 months with no balance transfer fees.
As usual, the card also offers up to 5% cash back in categories that rotate quarterly and comes with no annual fee.
Update 3/1: This offer has expired.
However, the Slate from Chase card, with 0% for 15 months with no balance transfer fees, is still valid.

It appears that no or capped BT fees are coming back into vogue. Today in the mail I received convenience checks for my PNC Visa with a 0% rate through 6/30/2013 and a flat $79 BT fee (which is less than 1% of my credit limit) Hopefully BOA, Chase, and Citi will follow suit!
