Just in time for the holiday shopping season, MasterCard’s “Here’s to Moms” Spend & Get Offer allows eligible MasterCard cardholders to earn a $20 MasterCard gift card just for spending $200 on their registered MasterCard online. While the promo’s name targets moms, this offer is actually available to any MasterCard cardholder in the US, aged 18 or older.

To participate, you must:

1. Enroll your MasterCard at www.mastercard.com/holiday. Note that the offer period runs from November 15, 2011 through December 31, 2011 and you will not be able to register your card until November 15, 2011 beginning at midnight Central Time.
2. Spend at least $200 online using your registered MasterCard, which can be made in one or more cumulative purchases. Only purchases made after your enrollment count towards your spending requirement.
3. Complete a Redemption Form that will be emailed to you approximately a week after you’ve met the spending threshold.

It’s important to note that the number of gift cards being awarded is limited to 80,000, which will be given to the first 80,000 qualifying cardholders to complete all of the above steps. In the likely event that all 80,000 gift cards are claimed before the offer expires, the next 10,000 to complete the promo will receive a magazine subscription. Anyone who finishes afterward is completely out of luck. So, it pays to be the early bird.
