United Mileage Plus Visa: 30,000 Bonus Miles, No Annual Fee First Year
Tuesday, February 23rd, 2010The standard offer for the United Visa has been for 30,000 bonus Mileage Plus miles after spending $250 with your new card, but with a $60 annual fee. Using the following link (via FTG) will also earn you the 30,000 miles after spending $250, but with the annual fee waived for the first year. Beyond the initial signup bonus, though, the card itself is not particularly exciting, as it earns just 1 mile per $1 in purchases.

I believe that the offer is still valid. When I clicked through to the application today, I checked out the linked terms and conditions, it shows the first year’s annual fee as waived. However, there is no mention of the 30,000 bonus miles after spending $250. Since the standard offer currently includes these bonus miles, I would expect this offer to include them as well, but I could not make any such guarantee. Seems like it would be a calculated risk.
