Virgin America Visa Signature Card: Earn a Free One Way Ticket

Virgin America and Barclays are introducing a new “Absurdly Simple” Virgin America Visa Signature card that earns Elevate points, good for any unsold seat on any flight anytime, with no blackout dates or restrictions of any kind.

The card application is not available yet, but when you pre-register now, you’ll earn a bonus 1,000 points. In addition, you’ll earn a one-way flight voucher if you apply by November 30, 2008 and make your first purchase by January 31, 2009.

Card benefits include:

• An additional 2,500 Elevate bonus points after your first purchase
• One point per dollar spent on everyday purchases
• Triple points on Virgin America purchases
• 0% APR and 1 point per dollar on first balance transfer — up to 2,500 bonus points
• 300 bonus points for every $5,000 spent per year (limit 1,200 annual bonus points)
