Discover’s popular “Turn Receipts into Rewards” program is resurfacing again this holiday season and it’s bigger than ever. From November 1, 2008 through January 4, 2009, you’ll receive a $20 Discover gift card for every $200 in spending on your Discover Card at participating malls while supplies last. (Gift cards are valid for use anywhere that Discover is accepted.) This time, over 160 malls nationwide will be participating, up from the 45 that participated in the fall version of the program.

Here’s a friendly reminder: the Discover More categories are set to change again soon. For the coming period of October through December 2008, card holders will receive a 5% cash back bonus on up to $400 of purchases at grocery stores, restaurants, movie theaters and on movie rentals. As usual, you won’t begin to earn the bonus unless you have signed up. You can sign up now at the following link.

From August 1 through September 7, 2008, Discover card holders will be able to earn a $10 Discover gift card for every $100 they spend using their Discover Card at any of 45 participating shopping malls nationwide. Earning the gift cards is quite simple–just shop at a participating mall with your Discover Card, then present your original receipts to customer service by September 7, 2008. There is a limit of 5 gift cards that can be earned per account during the promo period and supplies may be limited.

ShopDiscover is Discover’s loyalty program that rewards members with cash back rebates for shopping online through its portal. It’s similar to Ebates, FatCash or uPromise–when you visit a participating merchant through ShopDiscover’s links and make a purchase, you’ll earn a percentage of your spend. What is somewhat surprising is that, according to SD, Discover has increased the cash back it is offering so that it is now higher than competing websites for many popular merchants.
