Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards® Plus Card – 2 Flights Sign Up Bonus

Monday, October 8th, 2012

Southwest Airlines Credit CardSouthwest is once again offering a 50,000 point sign up bonus on its Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Plus Card. 50,000 points can be redeemed for about $833 towards Wanna Get Away Fares, which should be enough for at least 2 roundtrip flights.

Chase does seem to be gradually upping the minimum spend requirement every time it brings this offer back. Under this new offer, you’ll now need to spend at least $2,000 within the first 3 months of opening your account. In the past, when this deal was offered, you could earn the bonus after just your first purchase or after spending $1,000 within 3 months.

For more info on the benefits of the Southwest Plus Card, see this post.

Update: This particular 50,000 point offer has expired. However, as of 1/23/13, you can find another 50,000 point Southwest offer in this post.

Update 3/28/13: This offer has expired.

Note: 50,000 bonus points is also currently available for the business version of the card. To apply for the Southwest Airlines Rapid Rewards Plus Business Credit Card, see this link.
