For some lucky customers, Bank of America is offering an excellent deal on its BankAmericard Cash Rewards Visa Signature Card: a $400 cash back bonus after making at least $500 in purchases within 90 days of account opening, as well as an intro 0% APR for the first 15 months on purchases and any balance transfers made within 60 days of opening your account. Balance transfers, however, will incur a 4% fee (min $10).

US Bank has introduced a cash back credit card with rotating quarterly bonus categories, but added a twist. The new US Bank Cash+ Visa Signature Card allows you to choose two categories from a list each quarter where your spending will earn 5% cash back. You’ll also be able to choose either gas, groceries or drug store spending to earn 2% cash back. Your 5% and 2% choices can be changed each quarter, while all other purchases will earn 1% cash back.

Sometimes the credit card gods give and sometimes they take away. PenFed recently decided to do a little of both to its Platinum Visa card. Continuing a trend that it started a few years ago, PenFed has announced that it will decrease the rewards on its Platinum Visa Cash Rewards card. While gas purchases will continue to earn 5% cash back, all other purchases will only earn a 0.25% cash rebate, down from its current 1%. This change is effective February 1, 2012. At the same time, the regular purchase APR will be reduced from its current 13.99% to 9.99%.

The card offers 2 points for every dollar spent with no limit to the number of points you can earn.
