Through July 30, 2014, Amex cardmembers can receive a one-time $10 statement credit when they spend a total of $200 or more on American Express Gift Cards. To sign up for this deal, cardmembers must first connect their Amex with Twitter, tweet using #AmexGiftCard, then receive a response from @AmexOffers stating that the offer has been added to your connected card. Once they have received the response from @AmexOffers, they must then use their card to spend $200 or more on American Express Gift Cards at www.americanexpress.com/gift-cards by July 30, 2014.

Through June 30, 2014, the Starwood Preferred Guest Credit Card from American Express is offering up to 30,000 Starpoints as a signup bonus. You’ll earn 10,000 Starpoints after your first purchase and an additional 20,000 Starpoints after you make $5,000 in purchases within your first 6 months of cardmembership. That’s an extra 5,000 bonus Starpoints, compared to what is normally offered for the card.

The beginning of June brings a whole slew of new Amex Offers. One of the more popular deals is likely to be from the Home Depot. Through June 30, 2014, after you register your eligible American Express card and spend $75 at The Home Depot–either online or in-store–you’ll receive a $15 statement credit. Amex Offers, previously known as “Amex Sync” offers, allow American Express cardmembers to register their cards for special savings on a wide selection of offers–ranging from dining, shopping and more. The discounts are often substantial and better yet, they are transparent at the point-of-sale, meaning that they can be stacked with other discounts and coupons.
While this is a fantastic benefit for Amex cardmembers, the main problem with the system is that you must individually sign up for each deal, which requires that you’re aware that the promo exists in the first place.
